Affordable Housing

Affordable Housing

We believe that every individual has the right to live in their own home. Homes ought to be non-segregated, typical, accessible, and in the community. We strive to help individuals find housing options that increase their independence and that suits their individual needs and preferences.

What We Do

We help people find housing options that work for them, promoting independent living and personal freedom. We work with individuals and their families to provide support in typical housing conditions.

How We Do It

We work with individuals and their families to find solutions together. Kamloops Society for Community Inclusion owns housing in the form of single detached homes, condos, and apartments, and rents these spaces to people we support. The spaces are held in the name of the person supported, which proves the person the rights and responsibilities of a home owner or tenant. We are proud to give people access to housing that is appropriate to their needs, and maintained in good fashion in good neighborhoods.

Why We Do It

We believe that people have the right to live in their own home, so we work to find non-segregated housing in the community.

Train Bridge
