Thank You to Colombo Lodge for Supporting Inclusion in Our Community

A $1,000 community grant from Colombo Lodge will help KSCI reduce financial barriers so people served can take part in local events, build connections, and experience belonging in community life.

KSCI is grateful to have received a $1,000 community grant from Colombo Lodge.

This gift will help us purchase tickets, pay entry fees, and support access to community events for people served by KSCI who may not otherwise be able to afford to attend. These opportunities matter. Being part of community life often happens in simple, everyday ways like attending a local event, joining in a shared experience, meeting new people, or being present in spaces where connection can grow.

Inclusion is not built through programs alone. It is built when people have real opportunities to participate, contribute, and feel a sense of belonging in the places they call home. Sometimes, the cost of admission can become a barrier. This grant helps reduce that barrier and makes it easier for people to say yes to opportunities that are meaningful to them.

We are thankful to Colombo Lodge for choosing to invest in local community work and for recognizing the importance of supporting inclusion close to home.

Generosity, when rooted in community, has a ripple effect. We are grateful to Colombo Hall for being part of that ripple.
